Payment in Parlaxy

How Payment Works

1. Customer makes the payment

The customer creates an order and accepts the traveler’s offer for delivery. After this, the customer pays for the order using any preferred payment method (payment options vary by country and can be found here). During the payment process, the customer also covers the Parlaxy service fee (8% + VAT depending on the country) and the payment system fee (5% + VAT depending on the country). The total order amount, which includes the product cost, Parlaxy service fee, and the traveler’s reward, is held in the customer’s account.

2. Traveler purchases the goods

The traveler buys the item with their own money and delivers it to the customer. We recommend taking a photo of the customer with the received order as proof of delivery. Detailed information on why the traveler must purchase the item with their own money can be found in the Help Center

3. Customer receives the goods

The customer receives the item and confirms its receipt in Parlaxy. After confirmation, the customer has 72 hours to thoroughly inspect the received item and, if necessary, file a complaint. If there are no disputes regarding the order, the funds for the order (product cost and reward amount) are transferred to the traveler’s bank account specified during trip creation.

4. Traveler receives payment

After the 72-hour period, if the customer has no complaints, the funds for the order (product cost and reward amount) are transferred to the traveler’s bank account provided during trip creation. In case of a complaint, Parlaxy carefully reviews the situation, checks the chat history, examines photos, listens to both parties, and then makes a decision on the refund.

What Parlaxy Charges a Commission For

Parlaxy charges customers a fee for providing a convenient service that helps customers and travelers find each other, ensures the safety of funds, and covers the costs of traveler verification and identification. These funds also support the maintenance and development of our service. The commission is deducted only after the customer confirms receipt of their order.

Additionally, there is a payment system fee (5%)—this covers the costs associated with the deposit and withdrawal of funds, which is charged to Parlaxy by the payment processor, and in turn, passed on to the customer.

Refund and Payment Security

When the customer accepts and pays a delivery offer, the order amount is frozen in their account balance. The traveler will receive payment only after the delivery is completed and confirmed by the customer. This process ensures reliable payment for all participants in the transaction.

The customer can cancel the order at any time before accepting a delivery offer. Once the delivery offer is accepted, the customer commits to paying the full order amount. If the item is damaged or the wrong item is delivered, the customer is entitled to a full refund.

Our team is always ready to assist with any issues that may arise during the order and delivery process.
