Can I, as a buyer, cancel my order?

No, from a certain stage you will no longer be able to cancel the order. The deal between the buyer and the traveler is always 100% protected. This means that you will either receive the goods you paid for, or you will get your money back.

There are two possible scenarios you may face:

  1. I have not accepted the delivery offer from the traveler, can I cancel the order?
  • Yes, you can. If you have not accepted the delivery offer and have not paid for the order — you can simply not pay for it and inform the traveler that you have changed your mind.
  1. I accepted the delivery offer from the traveler and paid, can I cancel the order?

If you accepted the offer from the traveler and paid for it, you can cancel the order in the following cases:

  • The traveler does not respond to my messages for more than 48 hours. If your traveler does not respond, contact Parlaxy so we can mediate and try to contact your traveler.
  • The goods I received are broken, damaged, or do not match the description. If the product is unsuitable or damaged, you should refuse the order upon delivery. Therefore, it is very important to check and inspect the order upon receipt. If you did not check the product upon receipt, you have 72 hours to report the problem to the traveler and Parlaxy. Claims received after 72 hours cannot be the reason for cancellation and will depend solely on the traveler's ability to return and exchange the product in the store.
  • The delivery of the goods was canceled by the traveler. In this case, you will get your money back to the original payment method. In this case, you can re-post your order to find a new traveler who can deliver the order soon for the same reward.

If you accepted the offer from the traveler, you cannot cancel the order in the following cases:

  • You changed your mind. Purchases on Parlaxy are final depending on the type of services we provide. Since travelers buy goods with their own money, canceling the order can affect them in different ways, as they may not be able to return the product to the seller (e.g., no return policy or refund period). Thus, travelers may lose the money invested in purchasing your order.
  • The received product does not meet my expectations. If the online store or seller inaccurately describes the product, it affects buyers regardless of whether you receive the product through Parlaxy or directly from the seller. Therefore, we recommend ordering only from reliable sellers. If the store where the product is requested turns out to be unreliable, the traveler will not be held responsible, and in this case, the Parlaxy money-back guarantee does not apply.
  • A new traveler is ready to take your order for delivery. If your order is ready to be delivered by a new traveler, and you want to know if it can be canceled, contact your traveler through the Parlaxy messenger. Travelers are often willing to cancel the order on their side if they have not yet purchased the product.
  • The delivery of the order is delayed. It may happen that your traveler's flight is delayed or rescheduled due to unforeseen circumstances. Parlaxy asks travelers to provide proof of this to ensure that the traveler complies with our Terms of Use. Your payment is still 100% protected. Orders cannot always be canceled if the product has already been purchased, but you can still check with your traveler through the Parlaxy messenger. However, cancellation will not always be guaranteed by Parlaxy.
